I'm a stay-at-home-mom and housewife. That means I have a lot of time to get things done around the house. I play with the kids so they don't feel neglected. I look beautiful when my husband gets home. I always have a delicious and healthy meal ready when he walks in the door. I make time to volunteer at charitable organizations. I read my bible for an hour every day. I never neglect my friends or my family. I work out 2 hours a day to keep my body healthy. My home is spotless, my garden is beautiful. My dog is well behaved.
And of course...THIS IS ALL A LIE!
What DO I do all day? Good question. It seems that all those things that take "just a minute" are never ending. But instead of being frustrated & feeling inadequate, I thought I would ...what else?...blog about it! Maybe I'll find some humor in it all. (Maybe my husband will read this and understand me a teeny bit more!) Better yet, maybe I'll read it & realize what I'm doing wrong - or better yet, I might discover that I'm doing some things right Maybe it'll be funny. Maybe it will be boring.
The fact is, I love my life. I love my family. I just wish I could do it all - and do it all perfectly. But can anyone?
Let's just say that this blog is the answer to "What did you do all day, since the kitchen is still a mess?"
Thanks for visiting my blog! Isn't it amazing how just two words from Scripture can be so encouraging? Glad you were blessed!
